And hire all the BBC’s. Dr. Who, Band Of Brothers, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Top Gear. The programming is far far superior than the crud in the states. Smart programs. Amazing. Few laugh tracks. Amazing. Great stuff. The only thing I’m missing is Three Sheets on MOJO. And my TV of course.

Yeah – completely agree! The networks here blow. That said, if it makes you feel better T/W cable just dropped Mojo, so no more Three Sheets for me either. It just gets worse and worse. At least I still have BBC on digital cable for Top Gear

Gah – how could they drop Mojo? This is where I think MC has it wrong:

The long tail of video preferences will outweigh the current limits of on-demand internet video eventually.

Yeah – I agree with you. For the time being, he is correct, but that could and probably will change in the long run. I have had a similar discussion regarding DVD/Blu-Ray vs. Digital Distribution as well. For the time being, Blu has it because of its obvious performance benefits…particularly audio since Netflix is barely sustaining DD5.1 on HD streams now, but one day I can see digitally distributed content having the bandwidth and capacity to sustain such streams. In the meantime, I will continue to build on the collection
…and yeah, TW sucks for dropping Mojo. Fortunately Hulu has it.
